I speak for the trees
Which country will be the first to have a Climate change lockdown? I reckon they will start next year. Probably NZ.

No new gas boilers from 2025?

No new combustion engines from 2030

Smart Meters and wifi enable thermostats - wonder where that will lead.....

But lets not stop production in CCP land or stop them building a new coal fired power every week.

There is unrest in the forest
Trouble with the trees
For the maples want more sunlight
And the oaks ignore their pleas

Neil Peart pretends there isn't something deeply Canadian about those lyrics.

Why would we have a climate change lockdown?

And why would trying to do better on climate change be a bad thing?

There's a failed former attempted politician here I think you'd like rios - Billy Te Kahika.

He's one of you lot. Or you're one of his lot.

I work in the smart meter industry. What are you scared of exactly?

Ah, the Lorax.

More sense in a line of Dr Seuss than in everything this prick of an OP has ever posted.

Why come onto a thread and start all the negativity? You do it on almost every thread you come onto. You and a few others are like a cancer on this forum.

Why don't you just fuck off.

Well don't fucking post on it then you cancerous cunt.

Why do you spend your time on here going from post to post slagging everything off and just acting generally like an utter cunt?

Are you the WHO police jabbing your high standards and rules about what constitutes as a decent post?

The content is worthy of conversation. But if you don't think it is then just move on to another thread.

You are a nothing but a tumour on this forum. Fuck off outside, there's a world out there, you may end up actually lightening up you fucking miserable cunt.

Re: I speak for the trees
The measures mentioned in the OP are couched in terms of some kind of heavy-handed police-state coercion. The intention of the post is to irritate and gain a negative reaction to climate change countering initiatives that businesses and sensible members of the public are already applying voluntarily.

It is feels like bullshit agitation, looks like bullshit agitation and it is bullshit agitation.

You don't like me flagging it? Well tough - you can go ahead and work up a rash with the other usual wankers on here in the full knowledge that anyone sensible will welcome, and be in the process of implementing, measures of this kind to reverse the process of MMCC.

I'm hoping to have an argument with rios here, and you guys are derailing things.

And the best thing is, the efficiencies mentioned, and many more, will soon be standard.

Rios has a point

I heard Susan Miche on the wireless last week, prominent member of SAGE, director of The Centre for Behaviour Change, renown Marxist and member of the Communist Party

Her contention was that travel restriction should be permanent upon the basis of 'climate change' - namely holiday flights. It was interesting how she, attempted, to by pass Covid/vaccination and major upon retention of acknowledged methods of control, 'muzzles', against any proven scientific benefit - the shift of emphasis has begun to reach the public domain

Re: I speak for the trees
Its a con.

Why can't we have a coal mine in Durham? You need coal to produce steel as far as I remember. Do we not need steel? Or do we just outsource production to India or CCP land where they burn dirty coal to produce it?

Why does the CCP get a free pass when it comes to all this nonsense?
